Don't worry, that one is the mushiest of the bunch.<br /><br />Here are some answers to some questions you might have about us or our wedding:<br /><br />Q) When did you two meet?<br />A) We met eight years ago on a double date. We were dating the wrong people at the time, though :-).<br /><br />Q) OK, then what happened?<br />A) Valerie stumbled upon Brook's blog on the internet last year, and the two were re-acquainted.<br /><br />Q) When did you start dating?<br />A) November 12, 2006.<br /><br />Q) When did he propose?<br />A) 11 months later on the beach in Florence, Oregon. And yes, he went down on one knee. And then she said yes.<br /><br />Q) Why are you getting married so quickly?<br />A) Why not? We know each other very well, we've prayed about this and we have the blessing of our parents. We're ready to start a life together.<br /><br />Q) Why aren't you getting married in a church?<br />A) We don't think God minds where we get married. We chose Willamalane because it's a good place for the wedding and will have lots of space for mingling at the reception afterward.<br /><br />Q) What should I bring for the potluck?<br />A) Whatever you want. Just make sure you don't bring all the same things :-). We'll supply drinks and a few appetizers.
